Description Jakko van Hunen 2009-11-13 12:05:18 UTC
Description of Problem:
Since upgrading from Mac OS X 10.6.1 to 10.6.2 monodevelop crashes if the editor font is set to Menlo and a source document is opened.

Before upgrading (on 10.6.1) I could use the Menlo font without any problems.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Set custom font to Menlo
2. Open a source file

Actual Results:
MonoDevelop stops responding and takes up a big chunk of the processor resources. Memory usage increases quickly. Eventually MonoDevelop will crash.

Expected Results:
The font used in the editor changes to Menlo.

How often does this happen?
Always on my iMac. On my laptop (Macbook Air) this doesn't happen even though the versions of OS, MonoDevelop, and Mono are the same as on the iMac.

Additional Information:
The OS X 10.6.2 update did bring some changes to the Menlo font, previously it crashed Photoshop.
