Description Nikanth Karthikesan 2010-02-17 08:50:49 UTC
No man page found in the package. Nor any pointer to the upstream URL.

Its seemed to be doing more bad than good on my openSUSE 11.2 machine where the machine kept on doing I/O after boot on an instance. Found preload to be the culprit. Killing preload worked.

rpm -qi says
Preload lists files to load into the system cache. This shortens system boot time if used correctly.

But no pointer to how to use it correctly, nor documentation to how it works.
