Description Ralf Haferkamp 2010-02-18 16:10:50 UTC
Hardware: ThinkPad T60, with Radeon X1400 (using radeonhd driver)

After letting my KDE4 Desktop idle around for about five minutes the Xorg process suddenly starts spinning at 100% CPU. Moving the mouse cursor of pressing a key brings it back to normal.

I suspected that this has something to do with powermanagement or screensaver settings, but even when both is disable the behaviour is still there.

Not sure whether this is related to graphics driver. Reassigning to Egbert for now.
Comment 2 Stefan Dirsch 2010-03-03 07:36:01 UTC
Same as Bug #584919? But that has been reported against openSUSE 11.2.
Comment 3 Stefan Dirsch 2010-03-25 02:05:01 UTC
I no longer think this is a graphics driver related issue. I believe it's the same issue on 11.2 and 11.3. Thus closing as dup.
