I do not fully understand your report. So a few questions: 1.) Did you install kst via a rpm as provided with openSUSE 11.2 or did you compile from source? Because openSUSE has 2.0beta2 and no 1.* version. 2.) If you installed via yast, please report the output of 'rpm -qi kst' Hi, Yes, I installed it from Yast. I referred to the kst web site for the dependencies when I was unable to execute kst. rpm -qi kst output: rpm -qi kst Name : kst Relocations: (not relocatable) Version : 2.0.0beta2 Vendor: openSUSE Release : 2.1 Build Date: Tue Oct 20 20:21:56 2009 Install Date: Sun Feb 21 20:16:19 2010 Build Host: build21 Group : Productivity/Graphics/Visualization/Graph Source RPM: kst-2.0.0beta2-2.1.src.rpm Size : 8647072 License: GPL v2 or later Signature : RSA/8, Tue Oct 20 20:22:27 2009, Key ID b88b2fd43dbdc284 Packager : http://bugs.opensuse.org URL : http://extragear.kde.org/apps/kst/ Summary : Real-Time Data Viewing and Plotting Tool with Basic Data Analysis Functionality Description : Kst is a data plotting and viewing program.
