Hello, this is part of a series of bugs related to encrypted partitions, thanks.

1) If a partition such as /home is selected during the installation process, installation fails with yast error while formating drives.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Boot from dvd
2. Select manual partition setup and select an encrypted /home drive
3. Continue and confirm installation
4. Wait

Works for me (with openSUSE 11.3 build 609). Please provide YaST logs, see http://en.opensuse.org/Bugs/YaST.
