Gnome desktop with an xterm open and an Alt-F1 opened main menu

Description Karl Eichwalder 2010-06-16 09:15:05 UTC
Not that easy to describe... The Gnome main menu loses focus after pressing Space. That's on a default installation without any customization.

1/ Start an xterm and leave the mouse pointer within it (upper right corner).

2/ Press Alt-F1 to open the main menu.

3/ Press Tab to enter the "Favorite Applications" list.

4/ Press Space to see where the focus sits in the Favorite Applications list.

==> It flashes for a fraction of a second and then, it lost focus and the cursor blinks in mentioned xterm (see step 1/).

I'll attach two screenshots for clarity.

Sorry for the spam. I'm mass-closing gnome-main-menu/slab bugs: gnome-main-menu has gone unmaintained upstream because it's not usable in GNOME 3, and is not shipped since 12.1. I don't expect any maintenance updates for it in 11.4 either.
