Can confirm that Device Notifier does not launch usb disks when they are inserted. The disks appear in lsusb listings and can be mounted manually with the mount command in a console, and thereafter work OK with KDE programs, but Device Notifier does not see them. I tried many combinations of Device Notifier settings, but could not get it to discover usb sticks. This is with 11.3 RC1 (i586 LiveCD). . *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 613898 *** I have installed openSuse 11.3 x86-64 RC1 (openSUSE Factory) iso dvd. Will the problem be solved in RC2? |
