YaST got signal 11 at YCP file /usr/share/YaST2/clients/sw_single.ycp:732 Liberating suppressed debugging messages: End of suppressed debugging messages Backtrace: (use c++filt to demangle) /usr/lib64/liby2.so.2(_Z20signal_log_backtracev+0x1e)[0x7f65e5c1ad6e] /usr/lib64/liby2.so.2(_Z14signal_handleri+0x157)[0x7f65e5c1af77] /lib64/libc.so.6(+0x32a60)[0x7f65e3d1da60] /usr/lib64/libQtDBus.so.4(+0x427fb)[0x7f65d63e77fb] /usr/lib64/libQtDBus.so.4(+0x42855)[0x7f65d63e7855] /usr/lib64/libQtCore.so.4(_ZN11QMetaObject8activateEP7QObjectPKS_iPPv+0x25f)[0x7f65dce92a1f] /usr/lib64/libQtCore.so.4(_ZN7QObject9destroyedEPS_+0x2f)[0x7f65dce92ddf] /usr/lib64/libQtCore.so.4(_ZN7QObjectD2Ev+0xa5)[0x7f65dce93b85] /usr/lib64/libkio.so.5(_ZN3KIO9SchedulerD0Ev+0x9)[0x7f65d84a5989] /usr/lib64/libkio.so.5(+0x1a242b)[0x7f65d859742b] /lib64/libc.so.6(+0x354e1)[0x7f65e3d204e1] /lib64/libc.so.6(+0x35535)[0x7f65e3d20535] /usr/lib64/liby2.so.2(main+0x1458)[0x7f65e5c1d188] /lib64/libc.so.6(__libc_start_main+0xfd)[0x7f65e3d09b7d] /usr/lib/YaST2/bin/y2base[0x400679] Um, the problem seems to be somewhere in yast2-qt/libQt or dbus, reassiging to Thomas. Seems to be a bug somewhere deep in qt. openSUSE 11.3 is out of maintenance. Is this bug still valid with openSUSE 12.1? No reply in more than 4 weeks. Please reopen if you are able to provide the requested information. |
Created attachment 375128 [details] The content from the Error - KDialog window User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-GB; rv:1.9.2.4) Gecko/20100611 SUSE/3.6.4-3.2 Firefox/3.6.4 After having selected a lot of postgres and related packages YaST ends up in a crash. I did not follow the updating so I cannot say when it happens but I think it must have been after all packages was downloaded and installed. I did not notify anything until an Error - KDialog box did pop up. The whole error file is attached. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Cannot reproduce it. I don't remember what packages I downloaded. It does not happen when I just try to install some else packages. 2. 3. Actual Results: An error log pops up. I cannot see that any is really installed when I look at the menu. When I do type on some they do exist. The init scripts are not made so the actual services has not started but the init scripts exist. Expected Results: An installation of the selected packages with updated menu and with working linked init scripts. So how to do to get everything working?
