spell checking in kmail using German default dictionary doesn't work even though the footline tells me it's active. Switching to English Default dictionary makes it work. If I choose German(Germany) it works, too.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. create a new mail
2. make sure the selected dictionary is German
3. enter some wrong text in the mail and enforce spell checking by Extras|Rechtschreibung

Actual Results:
Spell check is reported as successfully completed, no typos are found

Expected Results:
a dialogue shoud pop up to report any spelling error
the wrong text should be underlined
Comment 1 Gerhard Stengel 2010-07-26 20:24:46 UTC
workaround is to select German(Germany)

http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-de/2010-07/msg00963.html has the pointer to the solution.

Use "Deutsch (Germany)" instead of "Deutsch".
