These rules:
  /etc/udev/rules.d/51-hso-udev.rules
  /etc/udev/rules.d/51-gpsd.rules
need to be fixed. they also need to be moved to:
  /lib/udev/rules.d/

No package should install rules in /etc, which are not meant to be edited by the user.

ozerocdoff.rpm (hso) should just be removed from the system, it's replaced by usb_modeswitch.

Assigning to gpsd to fix the rule.

I could swear I fixed the SYSFS{} issues months ago... Need to investigate why the change was reverted.

And about /etc/udev/rules.d/ — the rules for gpsd should be configurable, as we do not know all of the usb2serial devices built into GPS receivers out there. (Luckily, vendors move away from the generic PL2303 converter.)

Where was that directory change announced, anyway? I didn't see anything on opensuse-packaging or any of the other mailing lists I subscribe to.

And besides, the rules in the oS-11.3 package are correct... Are you sure your gpsd package is from 11.3 (not 11.2)?

Anyway, got a couple of more reports. Probably an update issue.
