Description Charlie Barfield 2010-09-20 08:50:15 UTC
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.2.10) Gecko/20100914 SUSE/3.6.10-0.3.1 Firefox/3.6.10

i have been asked when a program crashes to download things for the debugging.

however after its contacted the server and started to download i see that its 140+ megabyte (like with the PDF reader). and i click "abort". and i click "abort" again. and it dont do anything other than show "abort" in the log. and it keeps downloading. then after downloading the file it says there was an error in downloading and that error was i clicked abort. so it appears it didnt save the file and it dont abort the download either.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. be prompted to download packages, by whichever method, this time it was to see if i can send debug info.
2.click abort and just watch it ignore you.
3.

i could make it "critical" as it does appear to cause me to loose the data i was forced to finish downloading

It has been fixed for aria2c downloader (see bnc#545106) but it's still open for libcurl downloader (which became the default in 11.3) (bnc#537883).
