I use xbiff to monitor my inbox for new mail.

xbiff correctly alerts me when new mail arrives in my inbox.

However, once I have deleted a message from my inbox, xbiff soon alerts me to
new mail as well, even though the size of the inbox has only shrunk, rather
than increased.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start with xbiff flag down.
2. Use mutt to delete an email from inbox, save changes to inbox.
3. xbiff will soon flag new email, even though no new email has arrived.
Actual Results:
xbiff will alert me to new email.

Expected Results:
xbiff should remain silent and should not alert me to new email, as no new
email has arrived.

The same bug appeared in openSUSE 11.2, and was logged by myself here:

Same xbiff version on 11.3 as on 11.2.
