User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; wa; rv:1.9.2.10) Gecko/20100914 Firefox/3.6.10

This bug is linked with the bug #643618

When the kupdate-applet has an error with not being able to refresh a repository, a pop-up appears that suggest (with a button) to change the repository configuration. If you click on it, an empty repository list appears.

The same behaviour occurs with the Yast Automatic Update module if you try from it to configure the repos.

If you do the same but from the Yast Control Center, you'll see all your repositories and'll be able to disactivate the one giving problems.

I've seen this bug first in openSUSE 11.2 but it still occurs in 11.3

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add a repository (e.g. local repo) and assure it's "refreshable"
2. Make that repository wrong (e.g. delete the folder of that repository)
3. Try a refresh with the update applet or the Yast Automatic Update Module
4. When an error is given, try to configure the repos (click on the button inviting to do it or from the Update module, go directly to "Configure repo", not from the Control Center.
Actual Results:
You get an empty list of repos in the Yast Module for Repo configuration.

The user think that all its repos have disepeared and think he must all reconfigure.

Expected Results:
Give the actual list of repos as it would be as the module were called from the Control Center

I'll also add the y2logs from a computer with 11.3 that had the same issue once.

Ladislav, do you have an idea why the packages doesn't show the repo list?

No idea, I'll try reproducing it locally...
