Description J. Daniel Schmidt 2010-10-27 10:23:08 UTC
The generated openSUSE and SLES documentation contains some errors.
There are several occurrences of red annotations like on this page:
http://rtfm.opensuse.org/products/SLES/SLES-security/cha.security.ldap.html#sec.ldap.vsnis

Both main navigation links lead to the same site. I think the link "Documentation" should lead back to an overview page or even to "/" to lead back to the initial overview. As an example please see:
http://rtfm.opensuse.org/products/SLES/SLES-security/preface.security.html#id493338

Navigation buttons "left" and "right" are broken in several places. They lead to a document that is not existant. One example is:
http://rtfm.opensuse.org/products/SLES/SLE-apparmor-quick/

Please get in contact with Jürgen to get the fixed version synced to the server.

Ok, thanks for the report. :)

@Frank: Is it possible somehow that OBB can create documentation without remarks? I guess this needs a change in the OBB code, right?

Hi Thomas,

Pls tell if we can fix it soon or not ?
Comment 4 Jeffrey Cheung 2012-04-23 02:37:38 UTC
Hi Thomas,

We found that if we not install the quickstart doc rpm, then the link will not show up.

HP teams request us to remove the package because HP consider tht the invalid link make SuSE and HP embarrass.

Do you agree us to use live update to remove the package first and then wait the fix from you ?
Comment 5 Jeffrey Cheung 2012-04-23 03:25:22 UTC
Per HP, they request to use live update to remove the doc package.
Comment 7 Jeffrey Cheung 2012-05-11 08:56:24 UTC
Low to P3 as preload project resolve this issue and let doc team see if want to fix or not.
Comment 8 Jeffrey Cheung 2013-01-02 06:25:10 UTC
This issue pend long time and we guess that doc team is not going to fix it. Besides, since we can workaround to resolve this issue.

We closed for WONTFIX now.
