Zypper at initialization checks if the PackageKit daemon is running, and asks it to quit if so. That can easily be done by using the prompt command "dbus-send". (see bug 580513)

In the same vein, it would be great to do the same treatment for sw_single. It should be trivial to implement, but it makes a big impact on user's experience.

I believe this is just a matter of calling SCR::Read() and SCR::Execute() over sw_single.ycp (or some packager init method so it's shared)...
