During the configuration of an Hauppauge PVR-350 card with YAST, the wrong lirc modules are provided in the Ifrared-control drop-down menu (ir_kbd_gpio and ir_kbd_i2c). The correct one would be lirc_i2c.

A workaround is to select the correct lirc module afterward with the sysconfig editor in section Hardware/Lirc
set LIRC_MODULE to lirc_i2c
set LIRC_DEV_PERMISSIONS to 660
set LIRC_DRIVER to default
set LIRC_DEVICE to /dev/lirc0
set LIRC_DEV_OWNER to root:video
(Do not reuse the TV-configuration afterward as than the link to the correct lirc module can disappear)

This is an issue at least since openSuSE 10.3 and I'm pretty sure it was already reported. But as the behaviour is still present and I couldn't find a report anymore, here it is (again ?).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Start the YAST TV-card configuration
2.Start edit for the autodetected TV card
3.Start test with the given lirc modules (this will fail as they're the wrong ones)
Actual Results:
infrared control can't be configured within YAST

Expected Results:
A possibility to configure the lirc functionality with YAST would be nice to have.

The same is valid for Prolink PixelView PlayTV (bt878). Offered modules are ir_kbd_gpio and ir_kbd_i2c, but valid ones are lirc_i2c and lirc_gpio. But lirc_gpio is not even available in lirc-kmp-default package! This module was dropped without any reason and now remote in this card is not working.

The Yast TV module has been dropped in openSUSE-13.1.
