Description Forgotten User VwC0v2dy2L 2011-02-10 23:54:52 UTC
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:2.0b10) Gecko/20110121 Firefox/4.0b10

the list of networks is empty and I can not connect entering network name in the field "hidden network" <- my network is hidden, but other not hidden networks are also not on the list, when I open the add new network list and press scan I see all the networks around.

Probably this is related that I was upgrading to milestone 2(or3) from openSuSE 11.3 and later on keept it up to date almost weekly, I recently switched to the plasmoid (see ticket https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=657495 for all the steps)

Running "cnetworkmanager -u" generates:
org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name org.freedesktop.NetworkManagerUserSettings was not provided by any .service files

Right now I had to run this to get network connection:
cnetworkmanager -C PAPIS300 --wpa-pass=$(read -p "Enter password:" -s x ; echo $x)

During this "cnetworkmanager -u" shows:
Active | Name | Type
-------+----------+----------------
*      | PAPIS300 | 802-11-wireless

After finishing connection script, "cnetworkmanager -u" shows error again

The only upside of this is the connection gets established without asking for password when low wifi signal strength.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
-
Actual Results:
It is not handy to connect to network

Expected Results:
It should be easy to connect to network
