Description Rainer Hurtado Navarro 2011-02-11 04:33:23 UTC
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; es-ES; rv:1.9.2.13) Gecko/20101203 SUSE/3.6.13-0.2.1 Firefox/3.6.13

While performing /sbin/SuSEconfig after package installation (this last time, after updating flash), YaST hangs. The following details are shown soon after:

YaST got signal 11 at YCP file Wizard.ycp:759
/sbin/yast2: line 454: 3287 Violación de segmento $ybindir/y2base $module "$@" "$SELECTED_GUI" $Y2_GEOMETRY $Y2UI_ARGS

The window title is "Error - KDialog"

N. B.:
Violación de segmento, i. e. segment violation.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1.It seldom happens, I have not a clue of how reproduce it, but I think it is related to the size of the YaST's window.
2.
3.
Actual Results:
YaST's /sbin/SuSEconfig hangs.
I have to order /sbin/SuSEconfig from the command line to be sure all will be all right.

Expected Results:
YaST's /sbin/SuSEconfig does not hang.

It crashes somewhere in QWidget (see attached backtrace).

openSUSE 11.2 is meanwhile unsupported. Does this bug still happen with newer releases?
Comment 6 Rainer Hurtado Navarro 2011-05-21 20:12:12 UTC
I have been using 11.4 for a while, and I have not saw this issue so far. If it happened again, I'll let you know the first. I thank you.
