Gnome does not save and restore applications to the correct workspace.

When I enter the session again, FF should be in the second workspace, but it appears in the first one. 

It doesn't happen all times. 11.2 does not have this problem, same machine.

System is 11.4 RC1, via DVD upgrade from 11.3
Compaq Presario CQ61-330SS Laptop.

This is a window manager issue, iirc. Compiz or metacity?

I'm not using compiz here, it is totally broken. Utterly useless - excuse me for saying it so bluntly. If anybody is really interested, I can try again and list what does not work (from memory: no cube, no workspace switching, no menus...)

We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in openSUSE since the time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a current, supported openSUSE version.

When you test it and it is still an issue, kindly reopen this bug and move it to the tested version of openSUSE.
