openSUSE 11.4 DVD media does not contain the "sssd" package. LDAP is configured to use sssd by default since this openSUSE version. As a result, working LDAP system can not be established using the default configuration and the DVD media solely.

Either sss should default to disabled in LDAP configuration, or the sssd package should be added to the media.

I doubt there's a chance to adapt the media... is it?

If not, maybe we should mention it in release notes. 


BTW during testing of RC's, sssd was installed for me, but I did not watch the source, so I assume it was from official OSS repositories added during installation.
