User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; ru; rv:1.9.1.17) Gecko/20110121 SUSE/2.0.12-1.5 SeaMonkey/2.0.12

When trying to customize Yast2 appearance under root I have some problems.

I run qtconfig utility under root and choose the visual style (this works Ok).

But there are some settings that are not saved. There is Tune Pallete button, under which there is a dialog window. It turns out that options "Build inactive palette from active", "Build disable palette from active", "Build from button color", always set to on. Even if to uncheck them, close the dialog window and then open it again, they seem to be on again. The change of these options does not affect the preview and the actual appearance of applications.

Under non-root user there is no such dialog at all: instead there is an inscription "Please use the KDE Control Center to set pallete" and indeed the appearace on non-root Qt4 apps is the same as that set up in KDE4's systemsettings (with the above mentioned options seem to be off).

Reproducible: Always

Hi Ilya. Are you still experiencing this problem in recent openSUSE versions? If so, please feel free to open a new bug. This one is really old and a lot has changed.
