Description Dominique Leuenberger 2011-04-14 06:47:49 UTC
Zypper allows for very easy addition of OBS Projects to the system, but it does not take into account what version of openSUSE I am running.

On a fully upgraded openSUSE 11.4 (gnome) install (VM), with only the default repos enabled, executing
zypper ar obs://GNOME:Apps GNOME_Apps

results in adding download.opensuse.org/repositories/GNOME:/Apps/openSUSE_Factory to be added to my list of repos.

This should, if I did never opt in for Factory, be pointing to my base version (of course still a guess, but a more suitable one than adding all bunch of Factory repos to the system).

I just found https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=648892

If you set your corresponding platform to /etc/zypp/zypper.conf, it works!
