Steps:
1. run yast
2. run kdump
3. switch to enabled
4. OK (commit)
5. run kdump
6. state --> disabled (bug, it should be enabled, see (3))

This error is still there on 12.1.

And it's not the only one.
/etc/init.d/kdump does not exist at all in 12.1. There is a /etc/init.d/boot.kdump, but in /etc/udev/rules.d/70-kdump.rules kdump is set, not boot.kdump.

I will file another bug ... but is someone working on this?

Fixed with migration kdump code to use systemd. Please reopen with fresh if it happens on current TW or Leap 42.2.
