Description Forgotten User bqecthuX8F 2011-05-01 17:45:41 UTC
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:2.0.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0

When using KDM (or login screen) and one selects a theme for the login screen and clicks apply and types in the root password, it is ignored and only the default login screen is used.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.open KDM (any way you want, I tried 3 ways)
2.select a theme
3.click apply and type root password
4.logout (or reboot)
Actual Results:
the login screen stayed the same default screen as before the selection

Expected Results:
the newly chosen login screen should have been displayed

I fixed this by ensuring that the theme was indeed downloaded and it was. So I know that part works. Then I went to the displaymanger file and changed the default theme from "suse" to "Suse.Login.Green"

Unfortunately this is a long standing issue.
