User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686 (x86_64); en-GB; rv:1.9.2.10) Gecko/20100914 Firefox/3.6.10

I installed 11.4 on a new laptop with Windows 7. I accepted all the default settings except automatic configuration. After stage 1, the system did not boot. I did some poking around, and as far as I can tell this was caused by the extended partition (sda4) being marked as bootable, but not the root partition (sda6). I ran the rescue system, made sda6 bootable and then I was able to boot the system.

Reproducible: Always
