When configuring the oki6550 printer, it defaults to monochrome. When you access all options of the printer configuration there is a selection box "Color". However, you can't choose it - in the very moment you try to choose, you quit the dialog and it remains monochrome.

Please take a look onto the figure I attached with this report. Please note, I manually entered "Color" into the corresponding line in /etc/cups/ppd/C5650.ppd, so the problem in the screenshot looks vice versa.

Please check why the clicking of the checkbox does not work. You are always pushed back into the default "monochrome"

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
install oki 6550 and try to switch to color mode
Actual Results:
Black and white is unchangeable (monochrome). You are forced to edit /etc/cups/ppd/<PRINTERNAME> manually.

Expected Results:
Guess what :-)

Again: the picture attached depicts the inverted situation (color option "frozen") because I edited the ppd - file manually in order to achieve color printing.

Showing the problem, however inverted

This picture shows the dialog within which the default monochrome cannot be changed. Again, in this png you see the inverted situation because I edited the corresponding ppd - file by hand.

I have to specify a (useless) comment when changing the status
of a bug from NEW to RESOLVED (also for DUPLICATE).
