the backup tool do not explain what kind of backup it does (full, incremental, diff...).

When doing manual backup, one may think it's full, but for automatic backup? What are the max files kept option? are there all full backups?

Reproducible: Always

I'll try to add some more info to help or redesign the UI a bit
although YaST Backup is already in maintenance mode and we don't
have enough time to be invested there.

thanks. I think YaST backup is under evaluated. some years ago it was pretty basic, but at some moment it was made better. Using it for some time now, seems to make differential backups (each day the difference from the last complete backup is done and only the last copies kepts).

It does a pretty good job

- Enhanced dialog and help for automatic backup - emphasized the
fact that all backups are full backups (BNC #698802).
