Description Christian Boltz 2011-06-13 14:20:00 UTC
/usr/sbin/sysconf_addword is a nice script to add or remove a word from a /etc/sysconfig/* setting.

What I'm missing is a function to set a sysconfig variable to a given value (and remove everything it currently contains). The most typical usecase is probably to change a variable from YES to NO.

Proposed syntax: sysconf_addword -s FILE VAR WORD (-s as in "set")

Peter, the script header says you wrote the sysconf_addword script. Would it be possible for you to implement this feature?
Or, if you don't have enough time, would you accept a patch?

11.4 is out of support. Please report this as feature request on github for aaa_base package (even better with pullrequest :)).
