It turns out that the session advertised by KDM as KDE failsafe is not failsafe at all.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
  1. Log in for the first time as a new user into a KDE failsafe session.

Actual Results:  
  1. Flicker, black screen, mouse pointer.

Expected Results:  
  1. KDE desktop.

Closing, 11.4 reached EOL, if you can reproduce with >= 12.1 open a new BR.
