Current digikam builds on OBS are not able to import pictures from cameras, since B.K.O. Bug 268267 will get digikam to crash.
Workaround provided in https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=268267#c49
should be fixed in next issue of digikam (workaround already included in git)

Steps to Reproduce:
1.start digikam
2.select Import > from Camera
3.crash

The bug is due to a duplicate symbol in two dlopened libraries (see BRs referenced above).  There is an upstream patch to remove the visibility on libdc1394's version of usb_init, ok to put out as an update?
