Description Jean-Daniel Dodin 2011-09-05 09:18:56 UTC
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:6.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/6.0

On this computer, a 11.4 install was created from older configs.

I noticed that when login on kdm, only the root icon is visible on the left. Usually it's the users icons that are visible.

That said giving login and passwd works.

After login, when going to kde system config, login config, I can change the settings (choose user images...) but these changes are never used by the system (of course I apply them and give the root passwd for this). The changes are visible after reboot, simply not used.

I can make some changes in /etc/sysconfig/desktopmanager and these one are valid and used.

I remember that some time ago there where such kind of problems with early kde4 config, but can't find the corresponding bugzilla entry

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
