The situation with 12.1 Beta 1 is that the largest icon size for libreoffice applications are 128x128, and these too look quite blurry on the shell.

256x256 icons are not available in the sources. There are two opened bugs:

256x256 icons for libreoffice icons

Hi!
I have attached a tarball with 256x256 icons for Libreoffice applications. These applications are generated from the full svg source [1]. It would be great to include these icons the proper way (by checking it into upstream appropriately), but it might be worthwhile to also release an online maintenance update for openSUSE 12.1 with these icons included. I could even volunteer to do that (the 12.1 maintenance update part) if needed...

Anyway, I have updated http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/File:LibreOffice_Initial_Icons-pre_final.svg with 256x256 icons even for the MIME types. I pushed the icons into LO-3.5 plain sources, see https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=39555

I have just pushed them also for LO-3.4.4 packages into the LibreOffice:Unstable repo. The fixed build should appear there within two days or so.

Once the LibreOffice:Unstable repo is buildable, I will copy it to the LibreOffice:Stable repo as well. It will be most likely two weeks from now because I am off the following week.

Finally, we are going to prepare the official maintenance update based on LO-3.4.5. It should be available within next weeks.
