Created attachment 456325 [details] dmesg If I boot Factory the monitor shows a scrambled screen as soon as KMS takes over. But the system doesn't crash since the mouse is moveable as a scrambled field. If I boot Factory with nomodeset X works fine even with desktop effects. According to dmesg a firwmare file is missing: r600_cp: Failed to load firmware "radeon/R600_rlc.bin" So either the firmware is missing or the KMS driver has the wrong name. 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc RV620 LE [Radeon HD 3450]
