Seems to be a issue related to xorg and opengl, because
changing to "XRender" won't do this.

Reproducible: Always

Cool! ;-)

Bug in OpenGL driver most likely. What graphics hardware is that? Please attach /var/log/Xorg.0.log. Thanks.

If now I try to enable OpenGL back (after set to xrender which does not flip) a error message pops and say to check the composition type.

openSUSE 12.1 is no longer supported. Hence the issue won't be fixed for this product. In case the issue still is reproducable with a supported product (openSUSE 12.3/13.1 at the moment) or with openSUSE:Factory, please feel free to reopen. Thanks.
