Neither detects nor installs HP OfficeJet T65 printer during installation. Does not install HP software and drivers. Printer was turned on and connected via parallel port.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.hook up HP OfficeJet T65 printer to computer via parallel port and turn on
2. run OpenSuSE 12.1 RC 1 install
3. No HP drivers or detection
Actual Results:
no HP drivers or detection

Expected Results:
expected T65 to show up instantly in cups
Comment 1 Roland Hughes 2011-10-24 17:24:04 UTC
If I connect the printer via a USB-Parallel cable, the Cups Web interface can actually find and configure the printer. The HP software cannot.

The parallel port issue is likely a duplicate of bug #673845
