Description Harald Koenig 2011-11-02 22:16:51 UTC
after last update I see *many* of those splash_* messages:

the most annoying one:
after boot with sysvinit I got an fsck error and had to enter the root passwd to fix fs problems. in that shell I got "splash_do_verbose" messages for *every* keypress!! that way it was very difficult to type commands figure out what went wrong...
see attached "screen.dump-13" for a screen dump...

trying to watch the boot msgs on the text console was mostly disturbed by plenty of those messages -- from /var/log/boot.msg (for sysvinit startup):

I am getting the same errors in 11.3 after recent Tumbleweed updates.
