According to bug 722304 comment 19 NM_ONLINE_TIMEOUT=0 causes infinite timeout instead of no timeout in /lib/systemd/system/NetworkManager-wait-online.service

I run into this issue after a 12.1 update. 

The NetworkManager-wait-online.service file fixed it for me.

Works for me. I would suggest to move this as quickly as an update to 12.1 and into Factory.

Frederic could you do a submitrequest to openSUSE:12.1:Update:Test please? I'll start an update for this issue.
For 12.1 a SWAMPID isn't needed.
