When I try to edit any of my connections in KNetworkmanager I got asked for root password. I also observed that if I do not type and password, after some time I got a "Did not receive a reply. Possible reasons ..." message and if I click OK there, the connection settings appear without typing the root password. But when I save the connection settings I got asked for root passwd again anyway.
PS: the connections I tried to edit are not system connections

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click the KNetworkmanager icon
2. Start "Manage connections"
3. Click on Edit a connection
Actual Results:
User is asked for root password

Expected Results:
User can edit connections without root authentication
