I give yast2 kiwi image creationg tool an run.

It fails on building an GNOME live cd.

I attach the output for the failing and also the yast2 logs.

Look there for what I´ve done.

The last entry of the build log is:

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
1.start yast2 kiwi image creation toll
2.try to make an GNOME live cd from the gnome repository.
3.see it failing with the openSUSE12.1 update repository.
Actual Results:  
failing GNOME iso creation

Expected Results:  
iso creation for GNOME live cd should work

yast2 packages are from openSUSE12.1 final -> not chanched.

I did not use the image creation toll often, so it may be also a mistake of mine, but why does it fail on:

http:__download.opensuse.org_update_12.1 2>&1]

?

Was your 'kiwitest' configuration saved? I assume it should be under /var/lib/YaST2/product-creator/images, right?

Could  you run kiwi from command line with
kiwi --root /tmp/something --prepare /var/lib/YaST2/product-creator/images/kiwitest ?

No, it was not saved.

I let it for remainding on needinfo, because of your second request.

Well, the second request relies on the first one. Please try to save your configuration even if the build fails, or just save the config without trying to build. Than you can try the manual kiwi run with saved configuration and we can see if the bug is in kiwi, config file or YaST.
