This only occurs with an image built with KIWI, thus there is something else at play here. Hello, I also see some messages from /var/log/messages like from samba, rsyslogd and cron on tty1 whenever I set openSUSE to runlevel 3. I'm on 12.1. dmesg -D is turning off messages closed by mistake, reopened again This might be an systemd issue. Please check if this works well as soon as you use sysvinit. http://en.openSUSE.org/openSUSE:Most_annoying_bugs_12.1 has a dedicated section about how to switch sysvinit and systemd. Search for 'Problem: System is switched from sysvinit to systemd during upgrade.' If this works with sysvinit please pass this issue to Frederic <fcrozat at suse dot com>. OK, sending Frederic's way. Frederic, Could you please add this to your list. Everyone else still just likes to punt when something happens that might be slightly related to systemd. Is it still an issue ? I don't remember seeing any complains about it ? Fixed |
