Hi,
I installed openSUSE 11.4. On the same computer is also Ubuntu installed. Grub did not detect it for me.

Reproducible: Always

After updating 11.4 for instance using "zypper up" as root and using YaST to change the bootloader, you are able to find the other installed systems via the Other button and for instance "Propose and Merge with Existing GRUB Menus". At least this happens when another openSUSE system is in a partion on my disk. It did not, using this YaST module directly from the DVD.

we are using grub2 now; it should detect other OSes fine
