Opensuse 12.1 after kdm screen has loaded begin typing password to login.
KDM allows the first keystroke and then freezes for approx five seconds not allowing any further keystrokes.
After five seconds can resume typing as normal and login as normal.

Vanilla install of Opensuse 12.1 64 on Lenovo Thinkpad SL510

Reproducible: Always

+1
I have the same defect.
Comment 2 Christoph Behnke 2012-04-22 06:51:14 UTC
Bug existing only with packet kdm-branding-openSUSE.
kdm-branding-upstream does not contain this bug.
Comment 3 Mark Fairbairn 2012-04-22 08:23:22 UTC
Yes, can confirm kdm-branding-upstream does not exhibit the bug.
Comment 4 Nanuk Krinner 2012-04-22 09:26:19 UTC
A known workaround to the bug is to install the upstream kdm branding instead of the openSUSE one.
