Description Forgotten User k_W9C-4F_b 2012-01-10 18:01:56 UTC
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:8.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/8.0

During a regular update of all packages that have been updated I got a set of warnings saying

nothing provides libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.15)(64bit) needed by libxine1-1.1.20.1-60.2x86_64

with six other modules as well as libxine1 having the same message - three refer to libm.so.6

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. YaST Software Management
2. Choose RPM groups - zzz-all
3. Choose Package - All Packages - update if newer package available
Actual Results:
Warning messages as indicated above

Expected Results:
Offered to update the packages without warnings

System is a Toshiba laptop (Equium L40-156) with Intel GMA X3100 graphics and a Pentium Dual Core processor T2310

It is running a Linux 3.1.0-1.2-desktop x86_64 kernel and

KDE 4.7.2 (4.7.2) "release 5"

you have added a factory based repo somwhere... use the 12.1 ones

Oops. Thank you for pointing this out. It was the packman repository that I had not changed from factory to 12.1 when the latter became available. Please mark this bug as fixed.
best wishes to all,
