Could you be more specific about which password you mean? For bootloader (which one)? Or for encrypted filesystem? The password for encrypted partition (see the original post, at the beginning). When you boot your system, you will be asked for that password. Then, please, don't use the Bootloader component if the bug is not related to bootloader - that was why I asked. sounds like a systemd issue - at least the password prompt isn't buried when booting with sysvinit for me... this will be fixed when we will use plymouth, which will handle the password prompt (ie for 12.2). closing as fixed, starting with 12.2. |
