Bad file. It is from another machine.
Pierre COUTANT, I do not exactly understand what you meant with your above comments but I assume you mean in your comment #5 that your attachment #485074 [details] is wrong and your attachment #485078 [details] is the right one. Accordingly I mark attachment #485074 [details] as obsolete. y2log from attachment #485078 [details] contains: -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2012-04-04 15:50:44 <1> linux-gt5r.site(2223) [YCP] Printerlib.ycp:66 Executing bash commandline: /usr/lib/YaST2/bin/ create_printer_ppd_database >/var/lib/YaST2/printer_ppd_database.ycp 2012-04-04 15:51:14 <3> linux-gt5r.site(2223) [bash] ShellCommand.cc(shellcommand):78 lpinfo: Unknown -------------------------------------------------------------------------- *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 727911 *** y2log from attachment #485078 [details] contains it several times:

This shows that in some cases whatever the root cause is
for "lpinfo: Unknown" does not go away after some minutes.
As long as "lpinfo -m" fails with "lpinfo: Unknown" on your
particular system, yast2-printer cannot get the printer driver
information from CUPS and therefore yast2-printer cannot find
a printer driver.
