Just for reference, this also happens when using LO with LANG=C LC_ALL=C. <mmeeks> use pmap - is it linking to gtk3? <vuntz> mmeeks: yeah, gtk2 ... <mmeeks> ok - so, then what theme do you use ? :-) <vuntz> clearlooks was loaded ... <vuntz> err, the theme is adwaita, but the engine is clearlooks Problem recurs with SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gen - ie. our raw X backend - so unrelated to gtk+. The same version of LibreOffice 3.5.2.2 is what I'm running on 12.1 and it's working perfectly. So - sounds like some hideous cairo / X server issue to me. It'd be good to check with a remote X server, and then re-assign it. <mmeeks> can you remote-X from a working machine ? to isolate the server ? <vuntz> mmeeks: seems to work fine (if slow is fine) hrm actually, I have a few menu items still invisible quite probably an X bug. Updating xf86-video-intel to 2.19.0 fixes this. Ok. So let's close it as fixed. |
Created attachment 490132 [details] See menu bar I can't use libreoffice because the labels are invisible, see the screenshot I'm using Factory + GNOME:Factory.
