Description Lars Müller 2012-05-12 16:57:48 UTC
Subject: during samba4 startup there's a 5 minutes delay with high cpu usage on opensuse 12.1

i don't know whether you have followed the ongoing thread
"Samba4 high cpu load" - which started long before these posts:

https://lists.samba.org/archive/samba-technical/2012-April/083234.html
https://lists.samba.org/archive/samba-technical/2012-May/083410.html

See my recent comment
https://lists.samba.org/archive/samba-technical/2012-May/083439.html

Would it be possible that opensuse 12.1 ships a more recent
gnutls version - to avoid all that samba4 related mess?
Comment 1 Lars Müller 2012-05-12 16:58:53 UTC
Even the version in openSUSE Factory is outdated. :/
Comment 2 Lars Müller 2012-07-09 12:00:19 UTC
What's the status here?
Comment 3 Lars Müller 2012-07-09 12:06:20 UTC
Resetting importance to p2 and major to get some attention.
Comment 4 Guan Jun He 2012-07-16 05:36:24 UTC
openSUSE 12.1 is already released, so, a new version package will not be accepted.

As soon as the interfaces stay stable a version update is possible.
Comment 9 Stephan Kulow 2013-02-18 13:09:11 UTC
it's updated in factory and I don't think we want an update without maintainer
