Okay, after manually configuring the interface, I logged on via ssh and completed the install. During the "test internet connection", I got a pop-up window that
"inst_do_net_test" had failed, see logs attached.
Calling `inst_do_net_test ($["enable_back":true, "enable_next":true]) clients/inst_do_net_test.ycp:23 Loading module 'Proxy' failed Import.cc(import):97 No matching component found Obviously Installation requires Proxy which is newly in yast2-proxy package yast2-installation-2.22.7 This is an autogenerated message for OBS integration: This bug (764951) was mentioned in https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/123843 Factory / yast2-installation *** Bug 766350 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 766421 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I have had similar problems configuring network access, no success so far, very frustrating!! I tried everything varying from disabling MAC address filter on the router to DHCP and static Ip configs, with networkmanager and with traditional if-up/down/config nothing works on my opensuse 12.2 (default-download for my 64 bit system) Tried using both 8139too module and 8139cp, neither one works. |
