Description Per Jessen 2012-05-31 17:20:38 UTC
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686 on x86_64; rv:11.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/11.0

Hardware: 1UZ, Supermicro Dalco box, dual-core 2.8GHZ, 1024Mb RAM, single
SATA drive.
Software: opensuSE current Factory
Process: Booting/installing with pxe+tftp+ssh. (Storage LAN).

I attempted a normal installation of current Factory, but when the system rebooted to begin the 2nd phase, no network config had been created, so I had no access to the system. I'll get hold of the yast logs etc.

Reproducible: Always

Okay, after manually configuring the interface, I logged on via ssh and completed the install. During the "test internet connection", I got a pop-up window that
"inst_do_net_test" had failed, see logs attached.

Calling `inst_do_net_test ($["enable_back":true, "enable_next":true])
clients/inst_do_net_test.ycp:23 Loading module 'Proxy' failed
Import.cc(import):97 No matching component found

Obviously Installation requires Proxy which is newly in yast2-proxy package

I have had similar problems configuring network access, no success so far, very frustrating!!
I tried everything varying from disabling MAC address filter on the router to DHCP and static Ip configs, with networkmanager and with traditional if-up/down/config nothing works on my opensuse 12.2 (default-download for my 64 bit system) Tried using both 8139too module and 8139cp, neither one works.
