More tests: I did a fresh install of a GNOME-only DE environment. There I can start firefox etc. Then I installed KDE on top of GNOME. Now I can start firefox also in KDE. It makes no difference, if I use gdm or kdm. It works in this mixed setup with both. So you can't reproduce the issue any longer? Not now. I need to reinstall a KDE-only environment. If necessary I will do that. (In reply to comment #3) > Not now. I need to reinstall a KDE-only environment. > If necessary I will do that. Not now. Restest with 12.2 Beta2: Now these programs start without any crashes. The problem seems to be solved. Ok. |
