This is an old problem in opensuse 12.1. However it exists in 12.2. If i use KDE desktop, and choose to input password to login. Every time, if i input password too quick after cold boot, the second character drops.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Toggle off Automatic Login when install opensuse.
2.Boot opensuse to the KDM login.
3.Input your password quickly.
Actual Results:
Log failed because a character dropped.

Hello,

I had the same problem, not been able to log-in.

Selecting KDE Plasma Workspace(previous) log-in solved this problem.

It sounds duplicate of bug 728554. But the comment 1 is different case though.
